Online steps:

• Go to the Department Revenue website at http://dor.wa.gov/ and register to e-file.

• After you register to e-file, when you log on your starting page is labeled “My Account”.

• Just to the right of the words “My Account” there is a line item that says “list of services”.

• When you click on that link it takes you to the page that lists those services.

• Under the heading “Tax Incentives and Credits” you will see “Apply For Main Street Tax Credit”.

• When you click on that you will come to a page that shows the credit available statewide for all organizations.

• Click on “get started” at the lower right.

• Follow the link and choose the organization “Kent Downtown Partnership” from the list of organizations.

• When you click on next , enter your contribution amount and it automatically computes your credit at 75% of your contribution.

• Your credit (75% of contribution) will be available to use towards your Washington State Business and Occupation Tax on January 1 of the following year.

• Remember that your contribution is fully deductible on your federal tax return in the year you make the contribution because Kent Downtown Partnership is a 501c3 organization
